The Innovation Institute’s Enterprise Development Group subsidiary Healthcare Coding and Consulting Services (HCCS), based in Fort Myers, Florida, has been presented with the “2016 Business Partner of the Year” award by HomeTown Health, an organization of 70 rural hospitals in the Southeast. The award was presented at HomeTown’s 17th Annual Fall Conference held at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia on October 24-26, 2016.
“This coveted award is presented each year by HomeTown Health to one of 60 business partners who exhibit extraordinary support and dedication to HomeTown Health hospitals, commitment to excellence, exceptional customer service, and for their tireless efforts in helping rural hospitals survive,” said HomeTown’s CEO Jimmy Lewis.

Each year HomeTown Health member hospitals vote to nominate the partner that provides them with a “best practice” solution and a high level of customer service and support that positively influences the delivery of rural health care in Georgia and the hospital communities that they serve.
“HCCS has gone above and beyond in the last 5 years to help equip our hospitals for the ICD-10 transition, stood with us through the postponement of ICD-10, and ensure that our hospitals have the support and education they need to be successfully coding and receiving vital audits related to coding at their facility post-transition.
