Member Owners Recognized for Achievements, Leadership

The Innovation Institute President and CEO Joe Randolph was selected to speak this year at CHA Assembly 2018 about Using Venture Investing to Spur Innovation and Further Our Mission.  Randolph talked about The Innovation Institute’s founding principles, the unique business model, the progress to date and the learnings for others considering an investment in innovation.

Matt Herman, Senior Managing Director with Ascension Ventures also provided an overview of Ascension’s Fund and described their focus and learnings over the past several years. He said their vision and goals involve constructing a portfolio of investments designed to deliver private equity-level investment returns that provide a strategic benefit to the limited partners and portfolio companies.

Three of the Innovation Institute portfolio companies were sponsors for the CHA conference and had booths at the event. The three companies were inHealth, Petra Construction Services, and Future Sense.  All three had booths at the conference and made contacts with potential customers from across Catholic Healthcare.

Several of the Innovation Institute’s Member Owners were award recipients at Assembly 2018, including the following:
