The Innovation Institute, located in La Palma, California, is an independent, for-profit limited liability corporation that focuses on transforming healthcare through cultivating innovation solutions as a way to “improve care delivery, eliminate waste, and extend human life.” Their mission is “doing more, with less, for more people.”

The Innovation Institute was launched in January 2013. “When you think about innovation, you really need to be in an environment where you reward risktaking and you reward failure because that’s ultimately how you are going to make the breakthrough,” said Joe Randolph, President and CEO. “Often times it’s not the huge breakthroughs that turn out to be the big winners.
