Population Health Solutions Provider inHealth Strategies Joins The Innovation Institute as Subsidiary
Population health solutions provider inHealth Strategies has joined The Innovation Institute as its 14th Enterprise Development Group subsidiary. The company is a niche player in the emerging, value-based health care industry offering evaluation and planning for population health solutions, customized wellness services, and innovative care models. Their services are aimed at effectively managing the health of designated populations, improving the value of health care delivery, and building healthier communities.
inHealth Strategies evolved from the successful Franciscan Health and Wellness Services—an entrepreneurial effort of Louisiana-based Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System
(FMOLHS). Under the leadership of Stephanie Mills, M.D., the health system created its Healthy Lives program, a comprehensive health and wellness service, as the primary offering of Franciscan Health and Wellness. Eventually, the wholly-owned subsidiary expanded to provide population-based analytics, health risk assessments and screenings, customized wellness programming, holistic health coaching, patient-centered medical homes and consulting to clients throughout the United States.
Dr. Mills serves as president of The Innovation Institute’s new subsidiary. She previously served as the FMOLHS chief information officer and chief medical information officer, and vice president of Quality and Health Care Innovation. She also practiced pediatric emergency medicine and served as medical director of the Pediatric Emergency Department at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, an FMOLHS member hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Other executives leading the inHealth Strategies team include Danielle Perry, principal; Andy Allen, consultant; and Jeff Soileau, consultant.
“We look forward to serving a wider audience nationally,” said Dr. Mills. “The Innovation Institute has the vision to embrace population health and wellness as an essential part of the health care spectrum, which is very exciting to our team and the partners we serve.”
FMOLHS President and CEO John Finan said, “In its development of wellness management expertise, inHealth Strategies has served our health system well, and we are confident that other similar organizations will find value in the team’s extensive background in population health services.”
“We are pleased to welcome inHealth Strategies to our portfolio of health care service companies,” said The Innovation Institute President and CEO Joe Randolph. “They have a great reputation and a track record of success in improving health and reducing healthcare costs for employers.”
Other subsidiary companies include 1) Tech Knowledge Associates (clinical technology management), 2) Petra Integrated Construction Strategies, 3) Healthcare Design and Construction, 4) Far West Staffing Services, 5) Healthcare Coding & Consulting Services, 6) Total Health Environment (medical equipment), 7) 360 Dynamic Technology Innovations Incorporated (document solutions), 8) FutureSense (people strategy), 9) MultiMedical Systems (medical technology management), 10) Summit Talent Group (executive recruiting), 11) Hospitality Business Network Solutions (IT networking), 12) Office Furniture Group, and 13) Healthcare Property Advisors.
