Universities and medical centers across the U.S., including UCLA, have been able to further their research through the fundraising efforts led by Garen Staglin and his wife, Shari. In fact, UCLA, a world-leading institution in cognitive neuroscience, named its neuro center after the Staglin family to recognize their involvement and contributions. The Staglin IMHRO Center for Cognitive Neuroscience at UCLA brings together psychologists, psychiatrists, physicists, neurologists, mathematicians, linguists, electrical engineers and other scientists who study cognitive and emotional processes and how they affect our decision-making and mental health.
