Local investment firm TriStar Health Partners is teaming up with the innovation arm of a consortium of nonprofit health care providers.

TriStar, which is led by former Vanderbilt University Medical Center boss Harry Jacobson, has partnered with The Innovation Institute, a for-profit venture backed by St. Joseph Health CHOC of California, the multi-state Bon Secours Health System, South Dakota’s Avera Health and The Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System of Louisiana.
