Healthcare workers at Covenant are developing new face shields.
The shields are made in the Arnett Room at Covenant Children’s Hospital. Caregivers who have had their units closed due to the halting of elective surgeries have been assigned to the production team.
After some trial and error they were able to find a design that works well and is easy to reproduce.
5,000 shields have already been made. The goal is to make 13,000.
The mask design has been submitted to the Innovation Institute so it can help health care workers in other areas. More…
